ILSP is Improving the Lifestyle of the Farmers of Uttarakhand: Integrated Livelihood Support Project (ILSP) in coordination with UGVS and IFAD along with providing better opportunities and possibilities to the farmers and local rural people is also enhancing the mindset and developing the entrepreneurial skills in them. Providing training, investing funds and making sure that they get enough chances to grow the local business are some of the major activities of ILSP in the rural areas.
Unemployment is one of the major problems at present in India and there is severe need of such steps like ILSP to motivate people and educate them about production and marketing. Producing local products from the soil and marketing those products to the local market to provide the high quality edibles to the consumers directly by eliminating the mediators and brokers has not only given chances to get adequate profit to the farmers but has also succeeded in providing good quality products to the consumers at low cost.
There are many projects going on in the rural areas of Uttarakhand, India and are definitely improving the lifestyle of the farmers and households connected with the project through various registered federations in different villages. All these projects are carried forward with the technical assistance of various technical agencies. The groups of people have been formed to provide them the facilities collectively. This has also helped a lot in women empowerment and is empowering women to walk with pride and respect in the society.
People are looking forward to such initiatives by the government in favor of the rural people. This will definitely improve the economy of India.
